Update

A very cool picture! Do you see the hand pointing?

okay so its been a while since I have updated the blog. Sorry. So lets start with the Fall Festival at BWC. It was cold but a great time. Justin enjoyed himself can you tell?

Thanksgiving. We didn't have a traditional thanksgiving, we spent the day at Denton Camp working on my mom and dad's cabin. It was actually alot of fun. Mom had turkey and meat balls for us to make sandwiches first so it was all good.
At Start

End of the Day

On December 7th Justin's unit had a christmas party. Ignore the spot I don't know what happened with the camera. But we had fun.

The next weekend was a youth group lockin. Now we usually have one or two kids who never sleep but at 5:30am only three kids were still sleeping. But we all had a great time learning about the specific people in the christmas story.

Then we had a church christmas party on the 20th. Sorry no pictures from that. We played an awesome indian giver game and just had a great time hanging out.
Then yesterday the 21st we lit the 4th advent candle the candle of love. Then we went to picture people and got our pictures done. Then we went back to BWC's candle light service. Here are a few of those.

Time flies by

Weeks seem to fly by. I feel like I only get to blink and I lose a week. So in my world school is crazy I feel like I never get to stop and breathe. Every time I turn around there is another project or thing to read. Right now I am going to school, president to the Bohemia Wesleyan Ladies Group, a youth group leader (I teach a lesson once every 3 weeks), an active member of the Bohemia Wesleyan Outreach Committee, I work about 25 hours a week, I go to school 3 days a week for 12 hours a week, I am working on crafts for a table at our upcoming fall festival. I still in this crazy schedule find time to see one friend a week, watch maybe 4 or 5 hours of TV a week, visit my grandparents, and bake uncontrollably.I have been trying a scheduling thing where I try and plan out every hour of my day I do a good job at writing it all down but somehow forget to use it. lol I wish it were easier. I usually think of my self as organized and motivated but I am having trouble getting everything done by when I would like it to get done. Sorry I just needed to vent. Have a great day everyone I hope God finds you well and is blessing your lives.

CrAzY LiFe

Man oh man how time goes by!! Okay so here is an update of what is going on in our world. Youth group as switched to Thursdays so that has changed our week a little. School is crazy, never have I ever been so busy in my life! I have classes on Monday 9am to 3:30pm, Wednesday 9am-2:15pm, and Friday 9am-1:10pm. I work Tuesday and Thursday 9-5, Saturdays at different shifts from opening to closing it just depends on the week, and sometimes just for fun I pick up the night shift on Wednesday and Friday. On Sunday we go to morning church and have started attending night services at Bohemia, something they just started in September. Justin works nights at Bob Evans while still looking for a job that suits him better.

OUR ANNIVERSARY-was October 1st
We have been together for 3 years and are now working on year number 4!!! We spent the night at home hanging out. I made him enchiladas for dinner and a mountain dew cake for dessert. It was my first time making enchiladas and his first time ever trying them. I want to throw a shout out to Katie and Ryan for introducing me to enchiladas when I went to see them in June, THANK YOU, he loved them. Okay okay so I know everyone wants to know what you get gift wise. I got Justin a collection of clever signs that he loved. They had cute quotes on them that really say alot. "twinkle, twinkle litte star do you know how loved you are", "if you live to be a hundred, i want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so i never have to live without you", and "promise me you'll always remember...you're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter then you think". Justin got me a pre-engagement ring. It is gorgeous!!! I have tried to take a picture of it but they none come out very well. So for now I will describe it until I can get a good picture. It is a heart shaped ring that is diamond encrusted with 2 bands coming off each side like a V with one side also diamond encrusted opposite of each other. On the inside engraved it says "from the heart" and has a ruby or red stone in the shape of a heart in it. Now your thinking pre right. Well what it means he says is that he has not yet found that perfect ring so this is sort of a promise that the engagement ring is coming.

ARMY NEWS
Justin went to his first drill at his permant unit this past weekend Oct. 4-5. He found out that his unit and another one will be deployed together by May 15, 2009 for a year of duty in Iraq. This is very scary for me but he figured it was coming and is ready to serve his country. So just keep him in your prayers as this date gets closer because its going to get harder and harder for me as the date creeps up.

Well now that you have an update I must get back to working on my term paper that is due on Friday. Love you all may God bless your families and keep you safe!

This year our thing for the girls birthday is a special lunch at Friendly's and then let them create their own sunday. Then its off to Hallmark for a webkin of their choice and something else with a code. I took Abby in April and we had a ball so I wanted to do it with Olivia and Eme too. So it was on Friday August 22nd and she was ready to go when we got there. We went to Friendly's and we colored a picture and Justin and Olivia made faces at each other to pass the time until the food came. We all had alot of fun sitting there hanging out. The sundae was probably the best part of the day. She got strawberry ice cream and topped it with gummy bears, a reese cup, and m&ms. They brought it out in little cups and she got to decorate it herself. She had a blast. At Hallmark she picked out a stripped snake webkin. Then she picked out some webkin lip gloss that came with a code for her to use online. We had a great day and can't wait to take Eme out for her birthday. (on the last page of pictures there is a box of 4 if you click on them they will appear in the big box on the right so you can see them better sorry I didn't say that on the page)

August 15th Day at the Beach

Justin came home on Aug. 12th for good. Now he only reports one weekend a month for now. On friday we decided to go to the beach with Emily and Craig. So we met up at like 9 and headed for the beach. We went to Cape Henlopen State park to swim and enjoy the beach. I am afraid of salt water so I didn't swim but Justin, Emily, Craig did and I took pictures the whole time. After swimming we had lunch at the park. After lunch we got cleaned up and showered to head out for more fun. Our next stop was the outlets. Before we got there it started to pour and didn't stop the rest of the day. We went to the converse outlet and aeropostal and lots of other places. Then we had dinner at a crab shack. It was great! An awesome day. We sort of celebrated Justin being home and Emily's last couple of weeks at home before moving to college. Here are some pictures!

Family Camp Week 7/26-8/3

The Chesapeake District of the Wesleyan Church has Family camp every year. This was the first year that I really got into it. I went everynight even after working all day. I met alot of great people and enjoyed spending time with friends that I already have. The speakers were awesome I really learned alot and was into every message that I heard. One of the most fun parts of the week I would have to say would be during choir practice and choir preformance. I got to watch six-week old twins Ada and Matthais. They are the twins of Julia and Evan Nutter. They are so cute and were so easy going. I looked forward to that everyday. Another highlight was spending time with the Owens family. Jess and I had some time to sit and talk which was nice and I always enjoy playing with Daniel and the Girls. I didn't take to many picture but here are a few.

Inner Harbor

Justin got a saturday day pass on July 26th. I picked him up and we decided to go to the Inner Harbor and just hang out. The ride from post to the harbor was only suppose to take 35 mins and it took an hour and a half. The traffic was really bad to get to the tunnel. But once we got there we had a lot of fun. We ate at Uno's and went to the information center to see what we wanted to do. We bought tickets to tour 3 boats. An old navy boat with sail and cannons and all the old stuff, then a submarine that really made us feel small. It was hard to manover in there. Then we saw a boat called the Taney and it was at Pearl Harbor and then was in WWII. That was an awesome boat. Inbetween the boats we went for a paddle boat ride. It was so nice just the two of us sitting in the boat talking. Before our day was over we went to a building call The World Trade Center of Baltimore. And the 27th floor was floor to ceiling windows. You could see all of Baltimore. It was so cool. I can't wait for our next adventure. We always have fun spending the day away.

Olivia's Cake

I couldn't go to Olivia's 5th birthday party because I had to be up at UD all day. I felt really bad and wanted to make it up to her. So I decided to make her a princess cake for her party. It took me about 3 days and a total of 4 1/2 hours. Not only did she get a cake but I made her 120 butterflies to decorate her cup cakes. I really enjoyed making the cake this is the first one I have ever done. I think it might become a hobbie in the future. Let me know what you think!

4th of JULY

Justin got a 4 day pass and was able to come home for the 4th. It was so nice to have him home just like normal. He got released at 12am on the 4th. We were there at 11:45 unpatiently waiting for him to be released. After we got home and got some rest, we got up and got ready for the big 4th of July parade. Its was a very very very long parade. We were so excited to get Olivia for the day that the parade could not go by fast enough for us. And she was with the horses so of course she was at the very end. After we got her though it was off to the park to eat and ride some rides. It was a blast to just spend the day hanging out and having fun with her. After the rides we headed to my uncle's house for a cookout. Olivia was amazed with their way of cleaning crabs before they were cooked. After the cookout we came back to the house to go swimming. As it got later we decided to go to the store to get popcorn and dinner to sort of picnic while waiting for the fireworks. It started to rain and we thought the fireworks would be rainned out but gratefully that didn't happen. Once the fireworks started Olivia sorta lost it. The noice really scared her. But justin was quick to comfort her and solve the problem. We got into the car and he turned the radio on to come Chris Tomlin pretty loud and he laid the front seat back and held her as we watched the fireworks. After that she was excited to watch them and comment on the colors, laughing and having a great time. Although when there was the occassional loud sound she would look at Justin very seriously and say "I can hear that" waiting for him to turn the radio up louder. It was cute. It was a great end to the already awesome day with Liv. I love watching Justin with her and all kids because it just reassures me that he is going to be a great dad someday when we get ready to have kids of our own.......years down the road of course. lol. It really made his weekend to get to spend some time with her. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have all 3 girls but I know Eme and Abby had fun with their friends and thats whats important. They are all 3 great kids that Justin and I enjoy spending time with(he is just a big kid when he is around them, I think thats the best part for him). But it was a great weekend and I was sad to have to take him back to base.

IOWA=VACATION june 19th-26th

I got to go see Ryan, Katie, Josiah, Porter, Molly, and Mac from June 19-June26. It was my first time flying by myself so I was kind of nervous but I really missed all of them and had been wanting to go out there for a while. Justin got me a plane ticket for graduating with my Assoc. degree. So dad dropped me off at the airport and off I went. NO problems on the plane rides there with only a 1/2 hour layover. When I got there Katie and Josiah were there to meet me at the airport. I had a great week! I'm so glad Katie and Ryan let me come to visit. We hung out and talked alot, went to her grandmother's to celebrate Katie's mom's birthday, went swimming, went to the spam museum(can u believe there really is one of those lol), I got to babysit Josiah and really spend time having fun with him, I got to help build a little bit of the new fence that now houses Mac and Molly, I got to ride Molly a few times, go shopping, tour downtown, visit the best craft store ever!, eat all kinds of new and tastey food, have the best ice cream or should I say frozen custard, go to the park and walk around(very peaceful), go to a great worship service, and all kinds of other things. I was a great trip. I would love to go back again......maybe after the new baby is born. Both plane rides back were delayed but I did get home the same day so no big deal. I tried to make a slide show of some of my favorite pictures. Let me know what you think. I might post more but I wanted to get these on here.

!BIRTHDAY!

I turned 20 on June 18th......I don't feel any different but I am no longer a teenager which is so exciting. Mary and I went out to lunch at Olive Garden. I went to youth group where I was surprised by Eden with balloons and a cake. Justin got sneaky and had me give money to his mom that I thought he owed her so that she could have roses sent to me from him. He is so sweet sometimes. The card says "Happy Birthday Beautiful" 143247
