I have been so busy and time has just flown by. Justin left in May 13th to Georgia to Train for his deployment. It was really hard to say good bye and even harder to watch young children have to say good bye. Justin has a buddy who he calls Vogel (since they must go by their last names) that he is really close to and plans on sticking with while they are deployed. I have gotten really close to Vogel (Rodger)'s family. His mom Tricia is wonderful and has really helped me in this rough time. Rodger's sisters Krystal and Kerrie are great to I have been hanging out alot with Kerrie and its been making my summer fun even though Justin is not here with me. His dad Rodger very nice and has a funny side to him that you can't help but laugh at. I finished up school and actually had an awesome semester not one grade lower then a B. In June I turned 21. Whoa yeah. lol not really. I still wanna go pull the lever at the slot machines but I haven't gotten to do that yet. June 21st I went to Denton, Maryland to be a counselor at kids camp called Kamp KaBoom. I had 16 girl and 2 counselors in training. It was such a fun, tiring, exciting, mind blowing, crazy, hot week. But I loved every minute. Then I came home for a week only to unpack and then pack again to go see Justin before they left the country. They were given what was a 4 day pass in the begining but the story changed everyday. Thats the army for ya. I left with the Vogel family from Greensboro Maryland at 5:15am on July 2nd. We got to Savannah Georgia around 5:30pm the same day. And to our surprise we actually got to see our soldiers that night. It was awesome. I hugged Justin forever. The next day they had a deployment ceremony which I made these shirts and then they were free to go with their families. We had fun spending time in Savannah on the river front, going to the beach, watching fireworks, riding go-karts, going on a ghost walk, eating alot, spending time with the Vogel's, relaxing and just being together. It was tough to say good bye again but seeing him was well worth it. July 11th Kim (my little sister) got married. It was a fun day. Her belly is getting big as the twins she's carrying grow. She is due new year's eve but if she makes it to 37 weeks (full term for twins) we will be happy. We find out in August the sex of the babies and I can't wait. Justin left the country also on July 11th. I can not give out very much information over the internet. Just know that he is safe and well. Please continue to pray for him and the entire 262 while they are defending our freedom. <br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtqpRxRWABWzNhotnZksCfZYQX98Up7oVeHd2PEX-dNajsPUpqQJWjfPEC0NZmbFtfWJOy7-L-IbT4GmMEqBZOJkH6QsIuUr2Nszb-49v3ST48hHwHkyqEx8Lsb3R_-EfHuN2Ygp-uv9ji/s1600-h/april-july+1014.JPG"><img style="cursor:pointer; We went away for two days to Cape May, NJ. We had a blast. We toured a WWII Aviation museum which was really interesting. For some reason we have a lot of fun in museums. Then We went and saw the half sunken concrete ship on Sunset Beach. We had time to kill before the sunset so we went to dinner. It was one of those places where the more expensive it is the smaller the portion. But the food wasn't to bad. Then we went back to Sunset Beach to watch the beautiful sunset. I took tons of pictures. And as we were sitting there Justin got down on one knee in the sand in front of me. When he asked me to marry him all I could say was I love you and I started crying. We hugged for a minute and then he turned to me and said its a yes or no question so whats your answer. I looked at him surprised and said ah YES duh. lol. It was great. We ended up back at the hotel watching reruns of House. On Saturday we got ready early and by 9:30 we were getting breakfast. We went and checked out a light house in Wildwood and then on our way back to Cape May. Cape May is actually exit 0 off of the park way Justin thinks thats so funny. Once in Cape May we took a historic Carriage ride around the town and listened to history. Then we went and toured a restored WWII lookout tower. Which was really really cool. As we get older time goes by faster and faster with the blink of an eye. I tried to update in February but again I ran out of time again. So since its a snow day I have some time to let everyone know whats going on in our world. I'll start with December and do a slide show of pictures for each month. <br />Christmas was a fun but busy day for us. We woke up at home and opened presents with my Mom, Dad, and Kim. Then we went to my Grandparent's house in Maryland for a 2:30 dinner. Then off to Magnolia to have dinner and open up presents with Justin's parents and siblings. We really enjoyed getting to see so many people in such a short amount of time. I think my best present was my new digital camera and the wii fit both from Justin. Justin said his best present was his new chucks and his bible concordance.<br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e7a6b344e5451774e673d3d0d0a&blogview=true&campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox slideshow: December" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e7a6b344e5451774e673d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=google&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table><br />January<br />I took two classes in January and did an internship at The Little School in Dover. Justin got settled into his new job that he started Christmas week at Smartis Inc. We start hanging out with some new friends Kristin and Ryan and their two children Matthew and Makayla. Paige had her baby and after a few days in the nicu he was ready to come home. Our church also had their unbirthday party. But thats really all of January. Oh yeah and Kim moved out and started renting a house. And our church had its first month of being an Angel Food Host site which is really cool to be a part of.<br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e7a6b344e6a41304d413d3d0d0a&blogview=true&campaign=blog_playback_link" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play this Smilebox slideshow: January" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e7a6b344e6a41304d413d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=google&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table><br />February<br />Okay so February flew by and it wasn't our best month. Justin got new orders stating that their two weeks scheduled in the summer usually would now be March 2-March 15. I feel like they get 13 months why do they need two more weeks. But what do I know. My spring semester started. I am taking 3 classes up on main campus and two online. I have class on Monday, Wednesday, and in the morning on Friday. When I'm not in class I work but my work schedule has been modified so that I can spend alot of time with Justin. His deployment date is now April 13th and he is due home May of 2010. It sucks really bad. I have no idea what I am going to do without him for such a long time. I got sick and went to the doctor she wanted to run test thinking that I might have rheumatoid arthritis. So I had to get blood work done. The test came back and my doctor sent me to a rheumatiologist. So that was a little uneasy to swallow. I went to that doctor on the 23rd thinking that he would say nothing was wrong but instead I found out that the blood test reveal I have lupus. That was actually really scary the way the doctor was talking about it. So now they are going to take some more blood and keep an eye on me. The doctor said that I might also have rheumatoid arthritis with the lupus and future blood test will either confirm or reject that idea. So we got some things that we really weren't expecting to happen. <br />So now you have the scoop hopefully I will be able to update more often and i will keep you updated on Justin and how he is doing once he is deployed.<br />Hope everyone has a safe, happy, and healthy March.Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-38915851394625241242008-12-22T16:52:00.000-08:002008-12-22T17:20:40.049-08:00UpdateA very cool picture! Here are a few of those. <br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfp4Jgw1kxSjRrjixEzOzyQ2MXq2PaRydHegUSrWcZMcND8zpBQUXR7JwbseOZYQs4k_lGkJNXo2YXkVfBCVdv0d5EFtPiIKuhaGmsTGXeTt-IOkcOLdQfuBaHWAaeU6Zeh7RXgzAjm0Om/s1600-h/HPIM2583.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 243px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfp4Jgw1kxSjRrjixEzOzyQ2MXq2PaRydHegUSrWcZMcND8zpBQUXR7JwbseOZYQs4k_lGkJNXo2YXkVfBCVdv0d5EFtPiIKuhaGmsTGXeTt-IOkcOLdQfuBaHWAaeU6Zeh7RXgzAjm0Om/s320/HPIM2583.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282789145080633874" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjttSxdPKODebE6YxoQlxUfOdTihCDBc0idqwCfPoYOBCKPDeh0tQw6g1_krm6qbGj0dD9U6rFRvWQ9gpm-adPduoHpIZkLxE9SOPsLZ95_NZtd-RJRj5eXRfMeUOwMShEWBpDeLipbqvit/s1600-h/HPIM2591.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 243px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjttSxdPKODebE6YxoQlxUfOdTihCDBc0idqwCfPoYOBCKPDeh0tQw6g1_krm6qbGj0dD9U6rFRvWQ9gpm-adPduoHpIZkLxE9SOPsLZ95_NZtd-RJRj5eXRfMeUOwMShEWBpDeLipbqvit/s320/HPIM2591.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282789003930527298" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzONW5caMiOtcKZ93zDgz4jEamZoAmJ-8Yd4jWXeqQpuvn4NBdx5HdM4YobbKGJ6gAuWQ0ozzLi8Y8TJ1w8WhFJ_TEMvirE93K_7aQ2QeWzjZHyP3zCX0kcDw-bkdwYMVMh6AlBOz5aYW0/s1600-h/HPIM2589.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 243px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzONW5caMiOtcKZ93zDgz4jEamZoAmJ-8Yd4jWXeqQpuvn4NBdx5HdM4YobbKGJ6gAuWQ0ozzLi8Y8TJ1w8WhFJ_TEMvirE93K_7aQ2QeWzjZHyP3zCX0kcDw-bkdwYMVMh6AlBOz5aYW0/s320/HPIM2589.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282788574787395970" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl6ox_xVOysAe6zE_U5H29u7JLKdbbU4AUoc3yaMjoF0u3nLuGqGOwaHWPYKhyQVo-79EptvWpAmzYCj-Iy5tSCDzt3a3shcD8lqzs5814kxmOMM05Ru92RGKaB203HvCtBOaPJs-OKnwu/s1600-h/HPIM2574.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 243px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhl6ox_xVOysAe6zE_U5H29u7JLKdbbU4AUoc3yaMjoF0u3nLuGqGOwaHWPYKhyQVo-79EptvWpAmzYCj-Iy5tSCDzt3a3shcD8lqzs5814kxmOMM05Ru92RGKaB203HvCtBOaPJs-OKnwu/s320/HPIM2574.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5282788385599560914" /></a>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-53420088907109770222008-11-10T18:13:00.000-08:002008-11-10T18:34:16.964-08:00Time flies byWeeks seem to fly by. I feel like I only get to blink and I lose a week. So in my world school is crazy I feel like I never get to stop and breathe. Every time I turn around there is another project or thing to read. Right now I am going to school, president to the Bohemia Wesleyan Ladies Group, a youth group leader (I teach a lesson once every 3 weeks), an active member of the Bohemia Wesleyan Outreach Committee, I work about 25 hours a week, I go to school 3 days a week for 12 hours a week, I am working on crafts for a table at our upcoming fall festival. I still in this crazy schedule find time to see one friend a week, watch maybe 4 or 5 hours of TV a week, visit my grandparents, and bake uncontrollably.I have been trying a scheduling thing where I try and plan out every hour of my day I do a good job at writing it all down but somehow forget to use it. lol I wish it were easier. I usually think of my self as organized and motivated but I am having trouble getting everything done by when I would like it to get done. Sorry I just needed to vent. Have a great day everyone I hope God finds you well and is blessing your lives.Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-39029519509754000772008-10-14T17:33:00.000-07:002008-10-14T18:37:42.999-07:00PuMpKiNsWe went pumpkin picking for the first time and its going to become an annual tradition. I went with Emily and Craig to pick our pumpkins then when Justin got off of work we started carving. It was awesome. Who knew we were great artist! I see more pumpkin carving in the days to come.<br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e446b344d7a51324e673d3d0d0a&campaign=blog_playback_link&blogview=true" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play pumpkin night" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e446b344d7a51324e673d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-38159931989201225662008-10-08T21:50:00.001-07:002008-10-08T21:51:14.774-07:00The Ring Picture as Promised!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNVQ-CMQfEri3uBxOeiEQBxIO9cgJxWMw7zD59DX2aeo3kU5WMwNq1fLIckatBahFArDxDyhfH2etLtZyKjj6ofPPMXRxXXfUSBJdLVumjneqZgxVNIRL9aOxRXpd046nOPJJTApFwSQdd/s1600-h/IM000621.jpeg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNVQ-CMQfEri3uBxOeiEQBxIO9cgJxWMw7zD59DX2aeo3kU5WMwNq1fLIckatBahFArDxDyhfH2etLtZyKjj6ofPPMXRxXXfUSBJdLVumjneqZgxVNIRL9aOxRXpd046nOPJJTApFwSQdd/s320/IM000621.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5255012172312767378" /></a>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-59341845643735530672008-10-07T18:26:00.000-07:002008-10-07T19:59:09.750-07:00CrAzY LiFeMan oh man how time goes by!! Okay so here is an update of what is going on in our world. Youth group as switched to Thursdays so that has changed our week a little. School is crazy, never have I ever been so busy in my life! I have classes on Monday 9am to 3:30pm, Wednesday 9am-2:15pm, and Friday 9am-1:10pm. I work Tuesday and Thursday 9-5, Saturdays at different shifts from opening to closing it just depends on the week, and sometimes just for fun I pick up the night shift on Wednesday and Friday. On Sunday we go to morning church and have started attending night services at Bohemia, something they just started in September. Justin works nights at Bob Evans while still looking for a job that suits him better. <br /><br /><strong>OUR ANNIVERSARY-was October 1st</strong><br />We have been together for 3 years and are now working on year number 4!!! We spent the night at home hanging out. I made him enchiladas for dinner and a mountain dew cake for dessert. It was my first time making enchiladas and his first time ever trying them. I want to throw a <strong>shout out to Katie and Ryan </strong>for introducing me to enchiladas when I went to see them in June, THANK YOU, he loved them. Okay okay so I know everyone wants to know what you get gift wise. I got Justin a collection of clever signs that he loved. They had cute quotes on them that really say alot. "twinkle, twinkle litte star do you know how loved you are", "if you live to be a hundred, i want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so i never have to live without you", and "promise me you'll always remember...you're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter then you think". Justin got me a pre-engagement ring. It is gorgeous!!! I have tried to take a picture of it but they none come out very well. So for now I will describe it until I can get a good picture. It is a heart shaped ring that is diamond encrusted with 2 bands coming off each side like a V with one side also diamond encrusted opposite of each other. On the inside engraved it says "from the heart" and has a ruby or red stone in the shape of a heart in it. Now your thinking pre right. Well what it means he says is that he has not yet found that perfect ring so this is sort of a promise that the engagement ring is coming.<br /><br /><strong>ARMY NEWS</strong><br />Justin went to his first drill at his permant unit this past weekend Oct. 4-5. He found out that his unit and another one will be deployed together by May 15, 2009 for a year of duty in Iraq. This is very scary for me but he figured it was coming and is ready to serve his country. So just keep him in your prayers as this date gets closer because its going to get harder and harder for me as the date creeps up.<br /><br />Well now that you have an update I must get back to working on my term paper that is due on Friday. Love you all may God bless your families and keep you safe!Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-83366649712565122422008-09-08T17:56:00.000-07:002008-09-08T18:43:29.128-07:00~Olivia's Lunch~<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e4455334e5459784e673d3d0d0a&campaign=blog_playback_link&blogview=true" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play Olivia's Lunch" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e4455334e5459784e673d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=google&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own scrapbook - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/scrapbooks" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox scrapbook</a></td></tr></table><br /><br /><br />This year our thing for the girls birthday is a special lunch at Friendly's and then let them create their own sunday. Then its off to Hallmark for a webkin of their choice and something else with a code. I took Abby in April and we had a ball so I wanted to do it with Olivia and Eme too. So it was on Friday August 22nd and she was ready to go when we got there. We went to Friendly's and we colored a picture and Justin and Olivia made faces at each other to pass the time until the food came. We all had alot of fun sitting there hanging out. The sundae was probably the best part of the day. She got strawberry ice cream and topped it with gummy bears, a reese cup, and m&ms. They brought it out in little cups and she got to decorate it herself. She had a blast. At Hallmark she picked out a stripped snake webkin. Then she picked out some webkin lip gloss that came with a code for her to use online. We had a great day and can't wait to take Eme out for her birthday. (on the last page of pictures there is a box of 4 if you click on them they will appear in the big box on the right so you can see them better sorry I didn't say that on the page)Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-17083761071249241652008-09-01T14:59:00.000-07:002008-09-01T15:09:15.596-07:00August 15th Day at the BeachJustin came home on Aug. 12th for good. Now he only reports one weekend a month for now. On friday we decided to go to the beach with Emily and Craig. So we met up at like 9 and headed for the beach. We went to Cape Henlopen State park to swim and enjoy the beach. I am afraid of salt water so I didn't swim but Justin, Emily, Craig did and I took pictures the whole time. After swimming we had lunch at the park. After lunch we got cleaned up and showered to head out for more fun. Our next stop was the outlets. Before we got there it started to pour and didn't stop the rest of the day. We went to the converse outlet and aeropostal and lots of other places. Then we had dinner at a crab shack. It was great! An awesome day. We sort of celebrated Justin being home and Emily's last couple of weeks at home before moving to college. Here are some pictures!<br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e4451354d4449334e413d3d0d0a&campaign=blog_playback_link&blogview=true" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play Beach Day" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e4451354d4449334e413d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=smilebox&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-12631973234460017392008-08-10T17:32:00.000-07:002008-08-10T17:42:49.401-07:00Family Camp Week 7/26-8/3The Chesapeake District of the Wesleyan Church has Family camp every year. This was the first year that I really got into it. I went everynight even after working all day. I met alot of great people and enjoyed spending time with friends that I already have. The speakers were awesome I really learned alot and was into every message that I heard. One of the most fun parts of the week I would have to say would be during choir practice and choir preformance. I got to watch six-week old twins Ada and Matthais. They are the twins of Julia and Evan Nutter. They are so cute and were so easy going. I looked forward to that everyday. Another highlight was spending time with the Owens family. Jess and I had some time to sit and talk which was nice and I always enjoy playing with Daniel and the Girls. I didn't take to many picture but here are a few.<br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e4449334f5449304d673d3d0d0a&campaign=blog_playback_link&blogview=true" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play Denton Family Camp Week" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e4449334f5449304d673d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=google&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-87409090528588309172008-08-06T13:40:00.000-07:002008-08-06T14:30:27.662-07:00Inner HarborJustin got a saturday day pass on July 26th. I picked him up and we decided to go to the Inner Harbor and just hang out. The ride from post to the harbor was only suppose to take 35 mins and it took an hour and a half. The traffic was really bad to get to the tunnel. But once we got there we had a lot of fun. We ate at Uno's and went to the information center to see what we wanted to do. We bought tickets to tour 3 boats. An old navy boat with sail and cannons and all the old stuff, then a submarine that really made us feel small. It was hard to manover in there. Then we saw a boat called the Taney and it was at Pearl Harbor and then was in WWII. That was an awesome boat. Inbetween the boats we went for a paddle boat ride. It was so nice just the two of us sitting in the boat talking. Before our day was over we went to a building call The World Trade Center of Baltimore. And the 27th floor was floor to ceiling windows. You could see all of Baltimore. It was so cool. I can't wait for our next adventure. We always have fun spending the day away.<br /><br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e4449304d5451334d513d3d0d0a&campaign=blog_playback_link&blogview=true" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play Inner Harbor" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e4449304d5451334d513d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=google&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-12843155780735523962008-08-06T13:37:00.000-07:002008-08-06T13:38:56.224-07:00Olivia's CakeI couldn't go to Olivia's 5th birthday party because I had to be up at UD all day. I felt really bad and wanted to make it up to her. So I decided to make her a princess cake for her party. It took me about 3 days and a total of 4 1/2 hours. Not only did she get a cake but I made her 120 butterflies to decorate her cup cakes. I really enjoyed making the cake this is the first one I have ever done. I think it might become a hobbie in the future. Let me know what you think!<br /><br /><br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e44497a4f5451324d413d3d0d0a&campaign=blog_playback_link&blogview=true" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play Olivia's Cake" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e44497a4f5451324d413d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=google&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-62852220103190479612008-07-27T19:04:00.000-07:002008-07-27T19:41:35.159-07:004th of JULYJustin got a 4 day pass and was able to come home for the 4th. It was so nice to have him home just like normal. He got released at 12am on the 4th. We were there at 11:45 unpatiently waiting for him to be released. After we got home and got some rest, we got up and got ready for the big 4th of July parade. Its was a very very very long parade. We were so excited to get Olivia for the day that the parade could not go by fast enough for us. And she was with the horses so of course she was at the very end. After we got her though it was off to the park to eat and ride some rides. It was a blast to just spend the day hanging out and having fun with her. After the rides we headed to my uncle's house for a cookout. Olivia was amazed with their way of cleaning crabs before they were cooked. After the cookout we came back to the house to go swimming. As it got later we decided to go to the store to get popcorn and dinner to sort of picnic while waiting for the fireworks. It started to rain and we thought the fireworks would be rainned out but gratefully that didn't happen. Once the fireworks started Olivia sorta lost it. The noice really scared her. But justin was quick to comfort her and solve the problem. We got into the car and he turned the radio on to come Chris Tomlin pretty loud and he laid the front seat back and held her as we watched the fireworks. After that she was excited to watch them and comment on the colors, laughing and having a great time. Although when there was the occassional loud sound she would look at Justin very seriously and say "I can hear that" waiting for him to turn the radio up louder. It was cute. It was a great end to the already awesome day with Liv. I love watching Justin with her and all kids because it just reassures me that he is going to be a great dad someday when we get ready to have kids of our own.......years down the road of course. lol. It really made his weekend to get to spend some time with her. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have all 3 girls but I know Eme and Abby had fun with their friends and thats whats important. They are all 3 great kids that Justin and I enjoy spending time with(he is just a big kid when he is around them, I think thats the best part for him). But it was a great weekend and I was sad to have to take him back to base.Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-33118059941514650932008-07-26T21:57:00.000-07:002008-07-26T22:11:34.179-07:00IOWA=VACATION june 19th-26thI got to go see Ryan, Katie, Josiah, Porter, Molly, and Mac from June 19-June26. It was my first time flying by myself so I was kind of nervous but I really missed all of them and had been wanting to go out there for a while. Justin got me a plane ticket for graduating with my Assoc. degree. So dad dropped me off at the airport and off I went. NO problems on the plane rides there with only a 1/2 hour layover. When I got there Katie and Josiah were there to meet me at the airport. I had a great week! I'm so glad Katie and Ryan let me come to visit. We hung out and talked alot, went to her grandmother's to celebrate Katie's mom's birthday, went swimming, went to the spam museum(can u believe there really is one of those lol), I got to babysit Josiah and really spend time having fun with him, I got to help build a little bit of the new fence that now houses Mac and Molly, I got to ride Molly a few times, go shopping, tour downtown, visit the best craft store ever!, eat all kinds of new and tastey food, have the best ice cream or should I say frozen custard, go to the park and walk around(very peaceful), go to a great worship service, and all kinds of other things. I was a great trip. I would love to go back again......maybe after the new baby is born. Both plane rides back were delayed but I did get home the same day so no big deal. I tried to make a slide show of some of my favorite pictures. Let me know what you think. I might post more but I wanted to get these on here.<br /><br /><br /><br /><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><a href="http://smilebox.com/play/4e4445304d4455354e773d3d0d0a&campaign=blog_playback_link&blogview=true" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="303" alt="Click to play IOWA" src="http://smilebox.com/snap/4e4445304d4455354e773d3d0d0a.jpg" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/?partner=google&campaign=blog_snapshot" target="_blank"><img width="386" height="46" alt="Create your own slideshow - Powered by Smilebox" src="http://www.smilebox.com/globalImages/blogInstructions/blogLogoSmileboxSmall.gif" style="border: medium none ;" /></a></td></tr><tr><td align="center"><a href="http://www.smilebox.com/slideshows" target="_blank">Make a Smilebox slideshow</a></td></tr></table>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-22348723631254377652008-07-22T20:46:00.000-07:002008-12-10T09:02:31.335-08:00!BIRTHDAY!I turned 20 on June 18th......I don't feel any different but I am no longer a teenager which is so exciting. Mary and I went out to lunch at Olive Garden. I went to youth group where I was surprised by Eden with balloons and a cake. Justin got sneaky and had me give money to his mom that I thought he owed her so that she could have roses sent to me from him. He is so sweet sometimes. The card says "Happy Birthday Beautiful" 143247<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOG20n08p1XQOkzX0PLZpURS0hDFY1yaXCZrFf7F7KP33qNif1nH_sWpOt8GkPGdFasRoGzjgfXYKJ_c0Y5RegMZyblIGQP3v9XoYZKzxMsqJ6wmR3yOLohrJDCbTSOg9F7sQAnZwzEsro/s1600-h/bday+and+iowa+004.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5226052549358604626" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOG20n08p1XQOkzX0PLZpURS0hDFY1yaXCZrFf7F7KP33qNif1nH_sWpOt8GkPGdFasRoGzjgfXYKJ_c0Y5RegMZyblIGQP3v9XoYZKzxMsqJ6wmR3yOLohrJDCbTSOg9F7sQAnZwzEsro/s320/bday+and+iowa+004.jpg" border="0" /></a>Sami and Justinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10879629559894555399noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700131714613788367.post-41605943109820797622008-07-22T19:48:00.000-07:002008-12-10T09:02:33.272-08:00Justin's Graduation from Basic<div align="center"><br />Justin graduated on May 23rd from Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
